Complete offers you a range of products that are fully balanced, supplying your pet with all the nutrition needed for a healthy, balanced lifestyle at an affordable price.
Your pet will be happy, and your pocket smiling – without any need to compromise. It is important to bear in mind that this is a quality pet food that contains ingredients such as fats, oils and protein. As such it needs to be stored correctly, in a cool, dry place.
So as to make the transition smoothly, it is recommended that you change over gradually. Start the process well before your stock of the old brand is depleted. Give your pets a little of the new food mixed in with the old and as the days go by, add more and more of the new brand proportionately until the switch is complete, as recommended below.*
To avoid an upset tummy for the first two days, use a mix of 75% old brand and 25% of the new brand to which you are switching.
For the next two days, mix 50% of each brand (both the old and new) together and feed your dog with this mixture.
For another two or three days, mix 75% of the new brand together with only 25% of the old brand of dog food and continue feeding.
After a week of changing your dog’s diet, feed your Best Friend the new brand of dog food without unpleasant consequences.
* Changing brands too quickly may result in discomfort and possible digestive problems, which manifest in diarrhea or a change in the colour and texture of your pet’s stools.
